Top Bradford exporters reveal secrets of their success
6 January 2016
Three of Bradford’s leading exporters are set to share their export journey, offer their insights and reveal their top tips for local businesses looking to break into international trade at an event in Centenary Square Bradford on the 28th January.
The free event aims to help grow the Bradford Economy by helping every business fulfil their export potential.
The event will be held on an impressive Export Hub that will be parked in Centenary Square and is said to be bringing business opportunities from around the world to Yorkshire.
Speaking at the event will be:
Lindapter – Manufacturer of high-quality steel clamps and is the market leader globally. By building trusted relationships with distributors and spending time in each country, it has used exports to grow rapidly.
Bi-Fold Hardware – Bi-Fold Hardware embarked on a lengthy export strategy to conquer the US market. Producing bespoke fittings for bi-fold doors, the manufacturer predicts future trends and builds relationships before demand for its products grows rapidly.
Kiravans – Kiravans designs, manufactures and sells parts for campervan conversions. It uses a carefully crafted website to attract customers from overseas and also uses it to secure trade clients. It has also secured distributors to reach more overseas markets.
Attendees will hear from each of the exporters before getting the chance to ask their own questions. Those taking part will also get a free copy of the new Five Steps to Export guide, which offers simple advice on identifying new opportunities overseas and how you can find growth on foreign shores.
Regional director of UKTI Yorkshire and Humber, Mark Robson, says: “This event will allow businesses in the region to hear how their neighbours are finding growth in international trade, learn how they can do the same and also meet like-minded businesses who can help them on their export journey.”
