Take your place on a British trade mission to UAE
20 December 2013
A multi-sector British trade mission to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is being led by the British Business Group between January 18 and 23.
The UAE comprises seven Emirates which all offer opportunities for UK businesses across a wide range of sectors.
The UAE economy is expected to grow at about 4.5% annually for the next seven years with upturns in both oil and non-oil sectors.
Dubai’s spectacular growth in the past decade has bought many businesses to the UAE, attracted by initiatives and incentives to companies which establish regional operations there.
The UAE features more than 40 Free Trade and Special Enterprise Zones and delegates will be able to study these and establish which best meets their needs.
The mission, to be based in Dubai, will travel to trade zones in Ras al Khaimah, Sharjah, Jebel Ali and Abu Dhabi during the visit organised jointly with the British Business Groups in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. There will also be meetings and receptions so delegates can network with UAE business people.
