Queens Award for Enterprise 2017

If you think your business deserves to be recognised as one of the very best, enter The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise – the UK’s most prestigious business awards. You could soon gain recognition for your business excellence.
The Awards are bestowed each year by Her Majesty The Queen in recognition of the winners’ outstanding achievements. There are four categories:
- innovation
- international trade
- sustainable development
- promoting opportunity through social mobility
Winning an Award can provide global recognition that your company is outstanding in its field, as well as boosting staff morale and could even lead to an increase in sales. 76% of previous winners reported that the Queen’s Award had brought added commercial value to their business, 73% reported a boost to staff engagement and 49% of winners achieved increased recognition overseas.
Winners will receive a commemorative Grant of Appointment and a crystal bowl, and can display the Awards emblem for five years. Winners are invited to a reception with Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace.
There is also an award for individuals – the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion. This Award recognises people who have gone the extra mile to encourage entrepreneurial skills and attitudes in, for example, local communities, young people and students. A maximum of 10 Awards are presented each year and usually one special Lifetime Achievement Award. Entry is by nomination only.
Successful nominators can join the recipient at a reception with Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Entries or nominations are free, and the closing date for both Awards is 1 September 2017 (midday).
