New appointment at Chamber International

A multi-lingual graduate has joined Chamber International as a customs administrator.
Ioanna Orfanidi (pictured below) graduated from Unversite Jean Moulin Lyon 3 as a Bachelor of English-Russian and International Trade and is currently completing her Masters.
Following internships in Moscow and Athens, Ioanna worked for a time in France as a teaching assistant, before moving to the UK in 2019 to pursue a career in international trade.
Ioanna speaks English, French, Spanish, Greek and Russian and her role is to help UK businesses avoid errors in customs declarations and stay compliant with requirements, avoiding unnecessary delays and additional costs in the shipment of goods.
She comments:
“My intention always was to work in international trade in the UK and I’m delighted to be joining the Chamber International team.”
