Manufacturing heavyweights line up for Yorkshire conference
A stellar cast of manufacturing expertise has been gathered together for the inaugural Manufactured Yorkshire Conference on 14 May 2013.
Manufactured Yorkshire takes place at the John Smith’s Stadium Huddersfield and is tasked with bringing together manufacturers and their supply chains in a day of learning, collaboration and networking to ultimately strengthen trade links between both. The theme of the day is 'The Future of Manufacturing'.
Speakers lined up to share knowledge and best practice include Barry Sheerman MP, Terry Scouler, CEO of EEF, Mike Jones, HR Director for Siemens plc & north west Europe, Alex McWhirter, Chief Executive of Finance Yorkshire, Mark Robson, Regional Director of UKTI, Neil McLean, outgoing Chair of Leeds LEP and Mark O’Reilly, Chairman of Team Humber Marine Alliance.
The seminars at MY13 will be run in a Q&A style and will cover the future of manufacturing, exporting, skills for growth, funding and supply chain opportunities in renewable Industries.
Alongside the packed seminar programme is a ‘Meet the Buyer’ session with Richard Alan Engineering, various business clinics, an exhibition hall housing 50 manufacturers and suppliers and unlimited networking for all present.
