Join September’s Trade Mission to Bangladesh!

In the framework of the SheTrades Commonwealth+ Programme, funded by UK International Development, the International Trade Centre (ITC) is organizing a UK–Bangladesh trade mission from 24 to 27 September 2024.
The trade mission will focus on connecting Bangladeshi women-led businesses with selected buyers from the UK, mainly in the following sectors: textiles and apparel; handicrafts; home décor; and information technology business process outsourcing (IT BPO).
Participating companies will:
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the business environment and specific market requirements to import from Bangladesh to the UK, including relevant trade preference schemes - the UK Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS), for instance.
- Be helped to develop direct connections with key export promotion institutions in Bangladesh.
- Attend one-to-one business and networking meetings with potential suppliers in Bangladesh.
- Develop direct contacts with potential suppliers in Bangladesh, through networking events and company visits.
