Jack joins Chamber International to study global from the inside

An international trade student, Jack Maude (pictured right), has joined the busy Chamber International team for the next three months to gain a practical view of his chosen subject.

Jack, 20, who has just finished his second year of a three-year degree course at Leeds Metropolitan University, will work as part of the Chamber International team carrying out research, event planning and export documentation work to add a new dimension to his academic studies.

Jack, a former pupil at Brighouse High School where he studied French and German, says: “I’m interested in finding out how the world works and how different countries vary and integrate economically and studying international trade is a great way to do this.

“I approached Chamber International to see if there was a role for a student intern and am delighted that they have provided this opportunity to study many of the practical aspects of international trade from the inside.”
