Heathrow and Exporting is GREAT launch World of Opportunity Grants Programme

Following our celebration of 20 years of the Heathrow Business Summit in 2016, Heathrow committed to establish a grants programme which offered awards of up to £2,000 to growing businesses to help them start exporting or reach new markets.

Heathrow has aunched our World of Opportunity SME Grants Programme, in partnership with the Department for International Trade’s Exporting is GREAT campaign and Plaza Premium Lounges, to provide 20 SMEs with the financial boost they need to explore and develop export opportunities through trade missions, trade shows or market research.

The UK is the tenth largest exporter of goods in the world, and as the UK’s gateway to the world Heathrow wants to do all it can to help British businesses spread their products around the globe and grow international trade.

As UK’s hub and national asset, Heathrow aims to support SMEs across the UK. At Heathrow, we connect international tourists and markets from our 190 destinations, with the best that British business have to offer. That is why we are proud to launch our grants programme on June 15th and connect British SMEs with a World of Opportunity.
