Metro Shipping, the logistics service provider appointed by the British car manufacturer, partner to Emirates and strategic partner of Birmingham airport. was on hand to coordinate the shipment's logistics.

The freighter service is part of Skycargo’s specialised offering, "Emirates Skywheels" - air transport solutions for high value automobiles. Airfreighting the cars directly from Birmingham, the location of Jaguar Land Rover’s Solihull facility, to Chicago, also reduces the amount of car handling by avoiding long-distance trucking of the vehicles.
