e-Cert change for ATR’s to help exporters

Do you apply for A.TR documents using our web based e-Cert service? If you do, we have made an important change to the system that will help you save valuable time. You can now add the special declaration we need to support your A.TR at the click of a button.

Here’s how it works:

When completing your A.TR you will see a new tab  ‘A.TR Exporter Statement’, by clicking on this you can either chose to upload your own statement using the old method, or add it using the system. It also allows you to add your export invoice number, Customs Procedure Code (CPC) and tariff heading(s) and will automatically pull through your address, name and signature.

Note: This new functionality is not available to forwarding agents applying on behalf of exporters because HMRC regulations require the exporter to make the declaration.
