Chamber International to Support National Conference
7 March 2023
To mark the first year of its successful partnership with a leading UK trade association, Chamber International will be one of only five organisations specially invited to participate in their annual conference.
The UK’s principal trade association for instrumentation, control automation and laboratory technology, GAMBICA holds its annual Lab Sector Conference on 13-14 March this year, and Chamber International will be on hand to give advice to delegates at this prestigious industry event.
Highlights are expected to include: a keynote address by Professor Anand Menon on Brexit and its Trade Impacts; economic and political forecasts for the sector; brand new insights on customer’s key purchasing criteria; and the latest updates on how members can support their customers’ sustainability targets, presented by experts from Merck Millipore and Astra Zeneca.
The unique partnership with GAMBICA gives their members priority access to Chamber International’s international trade support services at substantially discounted rates. Its exclusive involvement in the conference takes this partnership to a new and deeper level.
GAMBICA’s membership includes international household names such as Fischer Scientific, ABB and GEC, as well as top universities, and a host of smaller, highly-specialised companies from this vibrant and successful part of the UK’s research, development and manufacturing sectors. Their annual Lab Conference attracts leaders from right across this membership, typically with complex needs in terms of their international trade activities.
Chamber International’s advisor Peter Bainbridge (pictured below), a former diplomatic with the Foreign Office, will be available throughout the day to assist delegates.
“GAMBICA is an extremely professional organisation whose members include world class British companies. It is a real privilege to support this event”, says Tim Bailey, trade director at Chamber International.
