Chamber International takes part in national export conference
3 June 2015
Overseas trade specialist Chamber International is taking part in a national export conference next week.
Senior export adviser, Mike Strawson, is manning Chamber International’s presence at The Partners Stand at the Global Trade Review’s UK Trade and Export Finance Conference, Birmingham on June 9.
The conference, attended by delegates from throughout the UK, is a forum for high-level discussion and debate between the UK’s corporate, government and financial sectors, focusing on how best to increase UK export volumes.
Among themes to be discussed at next week’s conference will be identifying new markets, tackling obstacles in obtaining funding and the latest government initiatives as well as hearing the experiences of a range of UK businesses.
Mike Strawson, a fellow of the Institute of Export, says: “With a new UK government in place committed to enhancing the UK’s overseas trade, this year’s GTR conference promises to be especially interesting. We’re pleased to be attending and representing Yorkshire exporters and look forward to welcoming delegates to our stand.”
