Better flight times for businesses in new Monarch Airlines flight schedule from LBIA
A summer 2015 flight schedule from Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) with trips to 10 European destinations for business people and holidaymakers has been announced by Monarch Airlines.
Two new summertime routes to Alicante and Naples are included in the schedule as well as eight business and holiday routes continuing from this year, creating a total of 28 flights a week.
Monarch Airlines says that there will be more flights to the popular destinations of Dalaman and Faro and more convenient flight times to Barcelona, Faro and Mahon.
Other routes will also benefit from easier flight times benefiting holidaymakers and business people wanting quick shuttle trips to attend conferences and meetings.
Monarch Group chief executive, Andrew Swaffield, says: “We have been undergoing a strategic review of all routes and bases over the past few months. We have been listening to our customers and have put a lot of thought into refining our schedule for summer 2015 from Leeds Bradford International Airport.
“We believe that the improvements to our flying programme from our most northern base will appeal to our loyal travellers, as well as attracting new customers to Monarch.”
Leeds Bradford International Airport chief executive, John Parkin, says: “We welcome the introduction of two new summer destinations by Monarch providing increased flight choice for business and holiday travellers across the Leeds City region and Yorkshire.”
