Connecting businesses, unlocking opportunities and strengthening UK–Pakistan trade

Organised by West Yorkshire Combined Authority and British Friends of Pakistan, in partnership with the University of Bradford and the Textile Centre of Excellence, the West Yorkshire–Pakistan Trade, Investment and Innovation Summit will bring together senior business leaders, investors, government representatives and industry experts to explore new opportunities for trade, investment and collaboration between the two markets.

Taking place at the University of Bradford, the summit will focus on strengthening commercial relationships, encouraging investment and creating new business opportunities, with particular emphasis on textiles and food and drink.

Exploring sector opportunities

Textiles: Connecting West Yorkshire's expertise in specialist manufacturing, textile research and innovation with Pakistan's extensive manufacturing capabilities and supply chains. Opportunities include sourcing, production partnerships, technical textiles, sustainable manufacturing and access to new markets.

Food and Drink: Bringing together manufacturers, retailers, distributors and hospitality businesses to explore export opportunities, product development, distribution, franchising and supply-chain partnerships between the UK and Pakistan.

Across both sectors, dedicated showcases, roundtables, an exhibition and pre-arranged one-to-one meetings will help businesses identify potential customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners and research collaborators.
