Importing Food and Drink From the EU

Online Workshop

Brexit has happened. Stay ahead of what’s next.

Before Brexit, EU imports were not inspected or tested at all.

But now they will be subject to the same rigorous safety checks and regulations as products from the rest of the world destined for supermarket shelves, wholesalers, restaurants and food manufacturers. Attend this workshop to discover how to prepare for major changes to be phased in from 1 October 2021.

  • The revised timetable for import checks on EU food imports

  • Pre-notification for products of animal origin, including meat, honey, milk, egg products and pet foods, explained

  • The requirements for high-risk food and animal feeds not of animal origin

  • Border Control Posts checks, IPAFFS, Export Health Certificates, Unique Notification Numbers, Safety and Security Declarations, and more
