UK Advisory: Liverpool Port Strike 24th Oct – 7th Nov

A port strike is going to affect vessels arriving/departing the port of Liverpool from 24th October to 7th November.

Where possible Shipco are trying to secure additional volume ex Southampton and London Gateway to replace the allocation for Liverpool.
Space is at a premium, and as such we would recommend clients book early in order to secure space on these vessels.

During this period, we ask clients delivering in to direct their trucks into Purfleet. In the event of delivery to outer depots Shipco will charge a diversion fee for transfers during this 2- week period of £15 w/m.
Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of loading will be billed “Dead Freight”
