Top 100 listing for Northern chemicals distributor

2M Holdings, which has companies in the North West and North East, is placed 72 in the ICIS Top 100 Chemical Distributors 2015 assessed by sales.

In achieving its ranking, 2M Holdings, founded by chairman and chief executive, Mottie Kessler in 2004, is placed 31 in The Middle East and 52 in Latin America.

Dr Richard Smith, managing director of Surfachem Group Ltd, which has offices in Huddersfield and Leeds, is an export ambassador in Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership’s We are International export campaign which is working to to add £1.6bn to the Leeds City Region economy through exporting and create thousands of jobs by 2018.

Surfachem Group Ltd exports directly to 72 countries and also through subsidiaries in Norway, Poland and Benelux. The company also established a joint venture in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 2014 to boost its presence in the Latin American market.
