Shipments to Egypt - stricter paperwork requirements with immediate effect

The Egyptian Customs authorities have advised that European Community Certificates of Origin are now mandatory for shipments to Egypt and must be certified by the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce and legalised by the Egyptian Consulate in London. Commercial invoices must at least be certified by the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce although legalisation by the Consulate is recommended.
