Chamber International Response to Covid-19
29 April 2020
Rebuilding the global economy after it has been brought to a virtual halt in a series of international lockdowns to stifle the spread of Covid-19 will require a new level of collaboration between different nations.
International trade embodies global co-operation and will play a crucial role in revitalizing the global economy as countries end their lockdowns and embrace a ‘new normal’ until there is a widely-available proven Covid-19 treatment or vaccine.
The urgent need for an efficient, if staggered, return to commercial activity to prevent further damage to the world economy, including a smooth resumption of global trade, is one reason why Chamber International remains very much open for business at this challenging time.
To enable companies involved with international trade to keep up to date with procedures, or prepare for the UK’s EU trade agreement, still promised by the end of this year, we have moved our training courses online so people can learn from home during the lockdown.
Most of our services are continuing as close to normal as possible with a new general contact telephone number: +44 (0)7827 318692.
We hope this provides some assurance whilst these exceptional circumstances persist.
