Goods exported to the Ivory Coast will require Certificates of Conformity from 1st March 2018
15 November 2017
The Government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) has introduced a Verification of Conformity programme for all exports to the country.
The VOC programme, which commences 1st March 2018, verifies the conformity of all regulated products in the respective exporting countries, ensuring they comply with applicable national, regional or international standards and technical regulations, protecting the health, safety and environment of the Ivory Coast’s citizens from sub standard imported goods giving them the total quality assurance they need.
Exporters/Importers trading with the Ivory Coast will need to comply with the requirements of the Verification of Conformity Programme in order for their goods to clear Customs.
