Free biotechnology trade mission to France
20 August 2014
A chance for Yorkshire businesses to explore opportunities in biotechnology in Europe is available with a free-of-charge trade mission this autumn.
SMEs and research bodies wanting to discover more about bio-refinery management, biofuels, bio-based products and chemical products which can be derived from renewables, are invited to apply for the two-day trade mission to Rheims, France, on September 30 and October 1.
The mission is being organised by Enterprise Europe Network Yorkshire and BioVale, the Yorkshire cluster which supports the development of the region’s bio-economy; CCI Champagne Ardenne and the French Industry and Agro-resource cluster (AIR).
Workshops, company visits, and a tour of a regional bio-refinery with special presentations on two technological projects, are included in the busy programme.
The mission has been scheduled to coincide with the 7th European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology (EFIB) in Rheims which will gather more than 500 scientists, industrialists, government representatives and investors from the biotechnology field and which delegates are welcome to visit.
