Former global export director joins Chamber International

A former international sales director whose efforts led to his employer gaining the Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade has joined Chamber International as a senior export associate.

He is David Attia, former international business director at Jacuzzi UK, Bradford, who led a team which won the Queens Award for Export in 1997 when the company was owned by Spring Ram. In 24 years with the company, he established overseas offices in Europe and the Far East and built up annual global sales for its products, especially its Astracast kitchen sinks, to £12m.

David Attia says: “I’m looking forward to the challenge of helping businesses which have not yet considered selling overseas to view the world as a big opportunity.”
