Exporters urged to present documents early during the month of Ramadan
30 May 2017
The holy month of Ramadan began on the 27 May and will end on or around the 23 June 2017.
During this period the Arab British Chamber of Commerce will adopt, as in previous years, shorter working hours, Monday to Friday (10.00am to 3.00pm).
Note that the Embassies of the Arab League based in London will also operate to shorter working hours during this time and exporters may find that documentation takes longer than usual to be legalised.
Following the holy month of Ramadan the Embassies will close for several days and it is therefore important that documentation for legalisation is presented to Chamber International in good time.
