ATA Carnets Update – Israel
8 December 2023
Foreign Carnets with expiry dates between 1 December 2023 and 31 December 2023 will be granted an extension to the final date for re-exportation.
The time limit for re-exportation will be automatically extended for an additional 3 months from the Carnets expiry date provided that the goods are already in Israel and the original time limit for re-exportation is between 08 October 2023 and 31 December 2023.
Note that this dispensation does not apply to Carnets that have already benefitted from an extension in the past. Goods which are currently in Israel under the cover of Replacement Carnet, with expiry date between 08 October 2023 and 31 December 2023, will need to request special approval for further extension by sending a description of the circumstances to MaliL@chamber.org.il.
