Why is it changing?
Exporters who ask us to return their documents by post are reporting an increase in the number of postal delays. We understand the difficulties delays can create for busy exporters and this new service will remove this risk and uncertainty.
What are the new online service options?
- Premium Express* – returned to you within 1 hour
- Standard Express* – submit before 2pm and get it back the same day
- Standard – available for collection after 2 hours or returned by post
How do I send you the supporting documents you need such as proof of origin?
You can scan and upload these as part of your application.
What else do I need to do?
The new service means that can print your own documents after we’ve issued them so you will need to ensure you purchase blank EUR1 forms and European Community Certificates of Origin.
Will the prices change?
The new level 2 service option is priced at £21.30 excluding VAT per application. Documents that are not submitted online will cost more (see below).
Can I still apply for documents manually?
Yes, but this will be the most expensive way to obtain your documents (see our price list).
