Passport to Export - Starting your journey to a new market

14 August 2024

Delivered by West Yorkshire Business Boost

Overview

As companies work to navigate the UK’s new trading relationship with the EU, many are also looking to expand into wider markets – but most don’t know where to start. Our guide to starting your journey is the perfect solution, delivering fast-paced learning on how to organise yourself for exporting, and, most importantly, which countries to consider.

Aim of the Course

This course is designed to offer a clear step-by-step guide to finding a new export market. We begin with a situation analysis of your journey to-date, and preparation for the next stages. Once this is clear, we will use a radical process designed to establish a template for a company to follow successfully, as it expands into a new market.

This workshop is suitable for company Managing Directors, Directors and Senior Managers that exert real influence in driving the direction of the business.

Course Objectives

Working as part of a group of like-minded businesses, you will:

  • Get you and your business organised for exporting
  • Improve your knowledge of international trade
  • Understand how to take advantage of the challenges and opportunities
  • Give yourself and your business a competitive edge
  • Leave with a Strategic Export Plan

Workbooks and supporting materials are written to support you in this style of learning.
